Hi George,
Thanks for the e-mail. I have to reply this way because I have a new anti-spam program, and I accidentally deleted your msg. Yes, it appears that Hanson was my 2nd great granduncle. His brother, William Dykes Johnson was my 2nd G GF, and their father, Lott, was my 3rd GGF, and Leila Dykes Johnson, my 3rd GGM, was Lott's wife. Lott and Leila migrated to LA from GA in 1809. These and other hard-won facts are the subject of a new book I am writing. The two brothers mentioned above also had three siblings:Elijah, Elizabeth, and Mary. William and Elizabeth moved to Texas. Hanson and the others stayed in LA. Keep in touch.
