There are a whole bunch of Fishers in Central Cemetery in Robeline http://www.rootsweb.com/~lanatchi/central.htm Two are buried in the Marthaville Cemetery: http://www.rootsweb.com/~lanatchi/Marthav.htm There are some Allreds in the McCaskill Cemetery: http://www.rootsweb.com/~lanatchi/mcaskil.htm I am sure there are more, as I was just looking in and around Robeline, Provencal, and Marthaville - and didn't look at ALL of those. The following page gives you all the cemeteries in the parish: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/natchitoches/cemetery.htm and don't forget to look in Sabine Parish too... that area kinda runs together up there... all of Sabine is on this page - with an index: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/sabine/cemetery/cemindex.htm About 15 Fishers in Union Springs Cemetery Just 2 Allreds - in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery I looked at those 2 census reports - 1850 and 1860 - and Amos Fisher was still in Sabine Parish both times... What is the latest census you have him on??? If he left Sabine, look in Natchitoches Parish - or Desoto (but I doubt that). e-mail me at khaki_scott[at]yahoo[dot]com and we will put our heads together - meanwhile, I'll e-mail "home" and see what I can find out. ...and just came from there yesterday!!! Oh well - the wonders of technology - we'll find him. Carol Notify Administrator about this message?
