Does anyone know anything about Willis Pinkney Allen who married Susie Ellen Campbell in Louisiana? I can't find any info. on him. I was told by my grandmother, his daughter, that he was not born in LA, but maybe Alabama. I know there are lots of Allens in Louisiana, especially Winn Parish and Sabine Parish which is the area my family is from. I want to know who my GGfather's parents were, where they were from. Even if they were not from LA, they must have been related to all the Allens there, right? If anyone can offer any insight or info, it would be greatly appreciated.
