He is listed in Kathy Casagranda's abstraction of the Succession Records of Sabine Parish, La Record Number LDS1318076, Index #1543

Nancy Web states that her husband, Joseph Webb died a few days ago in Sabine Parish. Nancy Webb appointed natural Tutrix of the minor children John Webb, Henry Webb, and Francis Webb. Hiram Litton appointed undertutor of the minor children.

Appraisers named as Absolam W Ford and Wade Litton with witnesses Alfred Lout and Nathan Cook. All listed is some livestock with a total value of 281.00. Administrators bond with Nancy Webb as principal and Alfred Litton as security. Witnesses of this bond were TG Wilson and Wm. Litton
