Em, I have worked only the Ratcliff line in Red River par, Bienville par (and a little Union parish). I have not connected them with the Ratliff family - although recent DNA tests among some of the males show kinship. I did a book JOSEPH RATCLIFF OF BIENVILLE PARISH LA about 15 years ago. My line through Louisiana is pretty well established. Joseph Ratcliff and Annis Johnson had a son Hugh Johnson Ratcliff whose youngest son Benjamin Ratcliff was my great grandfather. Are we kin?
