Gloria,
I saw several books at the historical library in Alexandria that had info about the Boyce area and the Neal and related families. My Celia (Cecilia)m. Andrew Miller and moved to Texas with Austin's Colony when my GGGrandmother Mary Cecilia Miller was about 3 yrs. old. Mary married Joseph Penn Lynch ("Lynch Families of the Southern States" compiled by Lois Davidson Hines has great info about all the related families). Also "Cousin" Bill Lehmann has written "Blood On The Bluebonnets" that tells stories of the Neal/Miller/Lynch and several related families and the times when Texas was Mexican, a Republic and finally a state. Bill e-mailed me a copy of Coashti's painting but I don't have a copy of her home.
I'm looking forward to learning more about your part of the family.

Regards,
Sue
