I am looking for descendants of Wm. J. Kirkland and wife Mary Farrior(Fairier). Wm. J. and Mary married 17 Oct 1855 in Pike Co. Al. He served in TWBS and apparently migrated to Louisiana after the war. I believe the grave at Sardis is his widow. Wm. J. was born ca. 1834 in present day Bamberg Co. S.C. The son of Wm. C.and Winaford Grimes Kirkland, traveled to Ga. and after a few years on to Pike(now in Bullock co.Al.)where they were for the 1850 census.
