Is anyone else researching this family? Robert Richard Butler was born in 1803 in VA, died 1848 LA. Married in 1820 to Mary Martha Girard. She was born in 1810 in LA. Her brother owned the first bakery in Alexandria, LA. Children (all born in LA): Elvina b. 1831, Mary Martha b. 1833 m. Frank Muse, Robert O. b. 1835 m. Elizabeth Haines, Richard F. born 1839, James b. 1846, and Edward b. 1849.
