Joseph Olcott in 1860 census

I am looking for information regarding Joseph Olcott. He migrated to Rapides Parish from N.Y. sometime after 1820. I believe he had a plantation along the Red River. He is in the 1830 census and in the 1860 slave schedule census. He seems to be living at Colfax, La. in 1870. I would like to know of other family members and in particular if anyone has heard of a Charles Olcott(his brother) Thanks Patri
