Posted by: Jean Mehaffey Date: April 25, 2001 at 16:51:00   of 461 Hi, I have an ancestor who was wounded at the Battle of Fort DeRussy. On his papers it says he was treated at ? Court House Hospital in Louisania.(unable to read this word) Another place he says the hospital was in Alexandria. Was the Court House in Alex, Rapides county, used for a hospital for Union soldiers in March of 1864? Just a small point but would like to get it straight in my mind.
