Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am looking for diaries, journals, newspaper articles, reminiscences, and letters of members of the Pointe Coupee Battery during the Atlanta Siege (July 23-August 27, 1864). This battery was organized with men from Pointe Coupee and East Baton Rouge Parishes.
I am also interested in those that were killed and wounded during this time period.
