They are buried at St. Stephen's Episcopal which is on the National Registar of Historic Places and located in Innis, La. --- where MY family lives of all things! I should have realized that is why I knew that name!! Visiting this church and cemetery is an extremely moving experience and you must do it!! If and when you plan to go-- I'll put you in touch with my Cousin as she has played tour guide before. Pointe Coupee Parish, La. has a fantastic Courthouse and they are preserving all the old records! You really and truly must make plans to go! This is your roots!!! I told that to another and he finally went and wrote me back telling me how right I was!!!
Your roots are in Pointe Coupee Parish, La.!!!
This is not my family but your gang is buried right near mine---what a small world!
