Valley Family of Plaquemines Parish, LA.

Hi,

I'm searching for information concerning the following:

Charles Valley, his wife Mary C. Lee, and only know child, (Captain) Christopher C. Valley.

I do not know when or where Charles was born or died.

As for Mary C. Lee Valley, she shows up as a widow in the 1870 Census living with her son Christopher in New Orleans, LA.

Last, Christopher C. Valley was born DEC 1838(Plaquemines Parish, LA) according to the 1900 Census and obit. Christopher died 10 May 1903, New Orleans, LA and was a river boat pilot.

Christopher's obit also states, his father Charles was also a pilot(sailor/seaman) and "only gave it up when his vessel went to the bottom".

Thank you for any help, it's very much appreciated.
