Ouachita Parish 1850 Census
Posted by: A.V. Vinson Date: May 20, 2000 at 06:11:54

Jesse Vinson(Vincent)(Born in South Carolina) died July 15 1854
In Ouachita Parish Louisiana. Succession and Tutorship papers name his
Wife, Elizabeth Vinson, and His children : William Lafayette Vinson,
Louisa Jane Vinson, James Pickens Vinson, Roena Elizabeth Vinson,
Sophonia Ann Vinson, Marion Vinson (Born in Ga.), McAllister Vinson,
Delilah Vinson and Warren Vinson as survivors. However I can not find
Jesse in the 1850 Census of Ouachita Parish or his Widow (Wife) , Elizabeth Vinson in the 1860 Ouachita Parish Census. Were there
problems with the 1850 Census in Ouachita Parish ?
