Hi,
Census data from 1860 indicates that there was a W.W. Patrick living in ward 6 of Ouachita Parish, which would place him in Western Ouachita Parish near Calhoun. The census indicates that he had $4500 worth of real estate suggesting that he owned quite a bit of property. The land patent data should give a more precise location, but I don't have that at my fingertips right at the moment.
In the 1880 census (http://www.familysearch.com) there is a family headed by Aaron Russell in ward 7 of Ouachita Parish. The data suggest that this family lived near Cadeville (intersection of LA 151 and LA 546). This is about 10 miles south of Calhoun.
