1850 Ouachita Census shows Milliard F. Carter born to Joseph and Sarah Carter. He married Helen Cotton__ but had two sons by 1870 when she died. Millard married Francis Fife June 12, 1870 and she died in child birth 1875 0r 1876. The first Child 1867 is Alonzo. He stated in his Spanish American War papers that he had one brother and a half sister which he did not name. Does anyone have resources in Ouachita (Monroe, La.)area that could help with these names. Thank you. JCarter
