Jules died on Friday, February 3 at 3:55 a.m. at the age of 55. He was buried in St. Roch Cemetery. He was a Corporal on the New Orleans police force. He was bitten by a prisoner and then died of blood poisoning.

His wife, Laura Jarrell died on Friday, March 13, 1942 at 10:00 pm at the age of 80. Also buried in St. Roch.

Children:
Jules Magnon Jr. died on Monday, January 21, 1946 at 10:00 pm at the age of 52.

Estelle Magnon Hansen died on Friday, December 11, 1953 at 5:00 pm at the age of 66. Buried at St. Roch No. 1 Cemetery.

Gustave Magnon died in WW1 in 1918.

William Magnon died in 1920 of smallpox.

Ida Magnon Thompson died on Friday, December 1, 1944 at 1:05 am at the age of 59. Buried at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
