Am looking for any info. on Arthur J. Williams, Senior, who lived in N.O. from about 1890 up until 1948 when he died in June of that yr. Arthur was married to Emma Pilote or Pilot, who I think was from MS. Arthur (Sr) had a son named Arthur J. Williams, Jr. and a son named George. He also had a daughter named Marguerite who married a John A. Turcich, Jr. Arthur (Sr) ran a restuarant in N.O. around the 1930s & 1940s named "The Plaza Restaurant." I think the restaurant was on St. Charles St. or Ave. Arthur (Sr) was a Greek, and he arrived in America in 1890 according to the 1930 census, which means that he was about 2 yrs. of age, which means that, of course, his father & mother must have came to America at that time. Would love to know what their Greek surname was. My grandfather was related to this family. Would appreciate any tidbit of info. abt. this family or the Plaza Restaurant. Thank you.
