Macarty/Zeringue connection

I am interested in finding someone who knows anything about ADELAIDE MACARTY (McCarty) who was married to Azor Raymond Zeringue. I know of three children: Michel Raymond, Adolph Raymond (born about 1823) and Felicite Raymond Zeringue (born about 1825) in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. They were all Free People of Color. Adelaide died about 1844, in Jefferson Parish. Her will says she had a house on Levee Street.

Anything at all about Adelaide (sometimes called Addie) or her husband, Raymond Zeringue, would be so appreciated. I would espcially appreciate knowing who Adelaide's parents were. I am a decendant of Adelaide's daughter, Felicite.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Julie C. Hernandez
