Thank you so much for the info. I wonder where he was buried. Since he was a civil war veteran, I would think he would be in a national cemetery near New Orleans. He was a Union veteran from Ohio. Maybe they didn't bury union veterans in Louisiana (a confederate state). I wonder why his brothers didn't claim the body since he had no children. He was married prior to New Orleans hospitalization. I wonder what became of his wife. He had no children. So many unanswered questions.
