Bill, do I get an "A" for effort? I went to Metairie Cemetery, it's only a couple of blocks from my home, so that's no problem. Unfortunately, I received some bad news. All of the cemetery records went under five feet of water, compliments of Katrina. I was told that they were being "refurbished" - whatever that means. The records were never computerized so they have a job on their hands. Thus, without having a section number or "street" or plot, I can't help you. Metairie is a huge cemetery so just driving around it and searching would take weeks or more.

I did check out the photograph to see if there was a landmark or sign but couldn't see anything that could help me. There are a multitude of similarly looking tombs so that's another challenge. If you can furnish me with the location or at least an approximate location, I'll be glad to try again. Sorry.
