I am looking for some help on one branch of the Allen family. I have reached a brick wall with this person and his family. I do know that familt members have stated that his father was a police Officer in New Orleans at or around the date of his birth.

This is what I have starting with James C. Allen;

From a Cert of Live birth:
Allen, James Costella
Born: June 11, 1937
Place of Birth: New Orleans
Parish: Orleans
Fathers last name: Allen
Fathers First name: William
Fathers middle name: Leon
Street Address: 826 Phillip Street, New Orleans, LA.
Cith and State of Birth: Camden, New Jersey
Age at this Birth: 42 (1895)
Mothers maiden Name: Murphy
Mothers First Name: Alline
City and State of birth: Mississippi
Mothers age at birth: 32 (1905)
File date: June 16, 1937

All the information I have on the Father, William L. Allen is:

SSI form SS-5 SS#
[as written]433-01-5226
William Leon Allen
Age at last birthday: 39
Date of Birth: Sept. 24, 1897
Employed by: Sears Robuck and Co. on 201 Barrone St.
Place of Birth: Camden, New Jersey.
Fathers full name: William Leon Allen [deceased]
Mothers full name: Martha Ann Howard [deceased]
Date signed: Nov. 25, 1936
State or Territory Where Number Was Issued: Louisiana
Death Residence Localities ZIP Code: 70726
Localities: Denham Springs, Livingston, Louisiana Port Vincent, Livingston, Louisiana

William2 Leon Allen was the son of William1 Leon Allen and Martha Ann Howard.
William2 moved his family to New Orleans La. before 1936 as he was employed by Sears Robuck and Co. on 201 Barrone St. as of 1936. This William2 married a lady named Aileen Murphy, had two [or more] sons. The first was William III Leon Allen and a son, named James Costella Allen.

Any help or advice would be great.
I thank you all for your time in reading this posting.
