Hi Tulia, Yes, I knew about the grocery store and the mayor. I am not sure if there is a direct relation to my grandmother, Nettie Schiro. She was a buyer for Maison Blanche. She married a "Anthony Fallo" who was a cousin of the "Joe Fallo" of the Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, which resides on Jefferson Hwy today. My father was adopted by this couple, who have passed away long ago, and I am trying to help him search for his birthmother. The problem is that my father does not even know any of the Schiro family or Fallo family that may be related. The only people he remembers are his aunts who have passed, and his grandfather "Anthony G. Schiro" who was a barber in New Orleans and passed in 1947. I was told that the Schiro family are very private and tight lipped, and that I will never get any info out of them. All I want to know is if they knew my grandparents and can help me to solve the puzzle of his adoption. Thanks for your reply. Do you live in New Orleans?.....Melanie Fallo-Smith
