Would someone please check for obit, death notice, news article for this man? Such material is highly likely because Col. Walton was rather famous in New Orleans due to the fact that he was commander of the Washington Artillery and later Chief of Artillery under General Lee with the Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War.
