Katie McGrath Ryan of New Orleans 1933

I'm hoping someone who knows something about the Katie Ryan mentioned here will read this.
My GGGrandfather was Michael McGrath from near Castletown, Leix, Ireland. I am seeking the names and etc. of his parents who
likely stayed in Ireland. He came to Waterbury, CT, ca 1855. He married
Johanna (Vera) Mayer or Maher. He had at least one child with her--Willie McGrath.
Mrs. C. J.(Katie) Ryan who lived in New Orleans in 1933 was also likely their
child. Michael's known brothers were John, William Henri, Daniel. There
were likely 3 more siblings. Michael and John joined the Union Army.
Michael came south where he remained after the war was over. He settled
in McCormick,SC. He married his 2nd wife in 1877/78. She was Sallie
Beasley From Augusta,Ga, but born in SC. Their known children were:
1)Jennie (1878-1922) mar. Charlie Sullivan (1882-1926). 2)John Thomas
(1880-1956) mar. Georgia King Greeson (1885-1972). These were my
GGrandparents. 3)Daniel Michael McGrath (1882-1947) mar. Hettie Lois
Creswell (1879-1939). 4)Julia (b.and d. 1889). 5)Lennie (1893-1971) mar.
Duncan Cooper. There are branches of the family still in CT and the
Northeast, in addition to the ones in SC. Michael was a blacksmith and
started a machine shop in McCormick, SC, that evolved into the Ford-and
then-the Chevrolet dealership.

Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone know about records in Castletown and Waterbury? I want to find relatives both here and in Ireland.
