Thank you for your reply. I still can't locate the exact river-it looks like it could be Anacoco-which is a town in the area but I am not sure-I was told that 'Little River' runs parallel to the interstate and old hwy just east of the Kisatchie Forest and that this was actually part of the old Red River bed-That makes some sense in terms of where my ancestor bought other land and where he ended up but I would like to know for sure.
