Emma OWEN TRICHEL1848-1916/Natchitoches

Am seeking info about Emma Eliza OWEN TRICHEL,wife of Gervais L. Trichel(1843-1904). Who were Emma's parents? She was born in Jackson Par. or according to another source, Miss. in 1849; d. 1916. Married Gervais "at home" in Douglas, LA in 1866; Douglas was part of Jackson at the time. This area later became part of Lincoln Par. Douglas was northeast of Ruston. Does Douglas still exist?

Children of Emma and Gervais: Thomas L; Maize Z., Mary A., Emma E.; Walter S.m. Marie Allison; Annie C.; Martha Estelle m. James Chambers; Lelia Ethel m. Christopher Garlington; & Ola Vivien m. Thomas M. Armitage (my g-parents).

Annie was principal of Line Ave. Schl. in S'port; killed with Emma and their nephew, H. Garlington, in an auto accident near Alexandria in 1932.

Emma supposedly was very active in First Methodist Church there and boarded school girls; buried in American Cemetery in Natchitoches. I cannot find ANY document giving her parents' names.
Can some of Emma's descendants help? Would REALLY appreciate any clue.
