These names are still familiar here in Natchitoches. Northwestern State University has an excellent research center, The Cammie Henry Reseach Center, that may have some info on family names. Also there is the Natchitoches Geneological Society, it's located inside the Old Natchitoches Courthouse Museum. Then of course, there's the old fashioned phone book! I'd be happy to mail you a copy.
