Just saw your message about Rosa Poche. I'm wondering if you know about the 2 Porcher's (had to be the same as Poche...pronounced the same anyway) who were French Huguenots who fled France in the 1600's. One of them was Isaac Porcher and the other's name I don't have, but it appears all the Porcher's in this country descended from these 2 men. You might have some luck looking on Cyndi's list for Huguenot info. There are vast and extensive records for the Porher's in Charleston.
