George Richard Jeffries 1850-1860 in LA

Looking for any persons connected to or researching the family of George Richard Jeffries who was born in Kentucky about 1709. He was listed in the 1850 census in Madison Parish Louisiana as Geo. R. Jeffers, in 1860 he was listed in the same parish as Richard Jeffries. The Jeffers name in the 1850 census was a mistake.
In the household in 1860 were:
1860 Madison household 168

Richard Jeffries 51 M bn Ky
Looks like Louisa 45 F MS
Alexander 25 M LA
Ellen 21 F MS
Augustus 17 M LA
Virginia 15 F LA
Willis 12 M LA
Emma 10 F LA
Looks like Julia 8 F LA
Ferdinand 5 M LA

The Willis listed (Willis Lafayette Jeffries-1848-1932) was my husband's great grandfather and he raised his family near Old Floyd in Carroll Parish, very near this site in Madison. In the early 1900's the family moved to Richland Parish where he has descendants today. We know about Ferdinand's family but not about any of the others. Would really appreciate any information on or from descendants of siblings of Willis and Ferdinand as well as any information on ancestors of George Richard Jeffries and wife.
