Hello I am starting my family search. I am looking for Briggs, Hardy, and Huntsberry from the Abbeville, Kaplan, and Perry areas of Vermillion Parish. My great-grandparents were Richard and Victoria (Huntsberry) Hardy. My great-great grandparents were Edmore and Phebia (Larkin) Huntsberry. My great grandparents (maternal) were Lofty T. Briggs and Gracie Walker. Family stories say that all of them lived in an area called "creole commons" and that they were all farmers and that one of the grand fathers was a doctor. Victoria died in 1910 and Richard remarried a woman named Mildred. Any information would be helpful. thank you
