Sorry I don't have any information on your family but my John B. Banister 1846-1917-Caldwell Prsh. Louisiana married Mary Ann Covington 1853 NC-1941-Caldwell Prsh, LA bef. 18772 in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. They had 10 children. Thought perhaps your John Covington could be related to Mary Ann.
