I am looking for information on three Spanish brothers who came to New Orlean in 1857. They were from a family which was in the general merchandising business. They were
Valentin , Juan and Francisco PUIG. Valentin ( Valentine) married Hortense Arnould from New Orleans. Juan married Uranie ? , I do not have a last name for her. All three brothers were in the 9th. company, 5th. Regt. European Brigade during the Civil War. In the late 1870's they moved South Texas where their descendants live today.
