Hi. I found her on the 1900, Avoyelles Parish census. Listed; Lovelle Marcotte 6-1854, Camelette 3-1865, Irene 10-1885, Arthur 8-1889, Preston 5-1895, Clifton 11-1897, Elam 2-1900. Listed as married 6 years, 3 children, so Irene and Arthur had a different mother, than the last 3 children. It listed married 20 years, then crossed out, and 6 put down. So, my guess would be, Lovelle's first marriage was around 1880, and you might be able to find his first wife's name. Also, I checked, and found Arthur on the SSDI. You can find it on ancestry.com/, then print it out and write for a copy of his SS card application. This will give you his and Irene's mothre's name. Arthur was born 8-23-1889, died 5-1871, in Jefferson Davis Parish. This should help you go back further. Also, you can find the 1860 Avoyelles census, to find Lovelle's parents. Good Luck. Maura Garrett
