Hello from Alsace, Who has some information about : Elsie ZAHNBRECKER (note the spelling); female, age 9, occupation child, from Prussia, village unknown, destination USA. She arrived aboard the Pequot from Havre arriving New Orleans 13 Dec 1860. She seemed to have been accompanied by: Agathe PFEIFFER, 38, unk. Occ. from Prussia, unk village Charles PFEIFFER, 15, unk. Occ.. from Prussia, unk. village. Agathe PFEIFFER (born in Oberotterbach, Germany, in 1822) was the second wife of my gggg-father Anton Zahnbrecher, they had a girl (Elisabetha ZAHNBRECHER born 1849 in Oberotterbach) before he died just one year later. I didn't know what happened then. The name of the girl must have been changed to Elsie. I know there are many ZAUNBRECHER in Louisiana but there seems not to be any relation with my family ZAHNBRECHER. Thank you very very much. Nathalie
