Hi Karen. I have access to the 1900 La. census, and thought I might be able to help. First, I found the marriage date of Lawrence and Alise/Elise Labby, not Libby. Married in Acadia Parish(where Barnch is), 5-19-1902. I found his and her parents.
Elisah Hornsby 3-1854, Josephine 2-1858, Lawrence 8-1879, Charlie 9-1882, Alsena 3-1885, Everett 10-1889, Roy 11-1891, Clinton 11-1893.
Eugene Labby 3-1856, Mary 3-1856, Mary A. 5-1882, Alise 12-1886, Rachel 11-1888, Eva 3-1891, Ellen 1894, Noah 10-1896, Maurice 11-1899.
I also found that Charles Hornsby, married Rachel Labby, in 1905. Hope this helps. Maura Garrett
