Otis GILES and my ggrandfather, Joseph W. Giles were brothers. (Their parents were Joseph GILES and Harriet SIMMONS who lived in Rapides Parish, LA.)
Lucy WILLIS (daughter of Alexander & Celestine McGINNIS WILLIS) was Otis Giles' second wife. Lucy and Otis were married Aug. 27, 1920 in Rapides Parish, LA. Two children were born to this union. George, who died as an infant, and Edithar GILES who married Vernon JOHNSON.
Lucy WILLIS GILES, James Otis GILES and infant George are buried in Bethel/Willis Flats Cemetery in Rapides Parish.
