Ruth: Thanks for the info....I was trying to find the tie to Jacob Miller. You may be interested in an article written by Dr. Glenn Conrad. He is the director of the Center for Louisiana Studies at USL. The article tells of "Maryland Germans who settled in Louisiana". Jacob Miller was one of the passengers who came to La. in 1769 according to the article from LES VOVAGEURS. I was trying to see if this Jacob was the same in the article or the son of the first Miller in La. You can find the article at
