Rick:
I'm descended from the Lees of Ascension and Iberville Parish (east side). Pretty much all of my Lees are in the Baton Rouge to Sorrento corridor someplace, other than my generation, which is spread out all over the place. My earliest Lee is John Lee m. Elizabeth Fenton, who first appears in 1806 in Iberville Parish, near St. Gabriel. I'm descended from their son, Thomas b. 1806, one of six known kids.
I'm seeking information on ALL Lees in the 1750-1810 timeframe, especially those in MS and LA, in hopes of pinning my guys down. I'm seeking info on ALL Fentons in the same timeframe and location, as well.
Please tell me more about your John Lee and Elizabeth Erwin.
