In New Orleans, obits are usually shown on Friday if they happen during the week. Here is the one you asked for:

John James Kelly Sr., a retired building engineer, died Tuesday at Chateau de Notre Dame. He was 95. Mr. Kelly was born in County Clare, Ireland, and lived in New Orleans for the past 12 years. He helped build the battleship USS Missouri during World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Bridget Agnes Moran Kelly; a son, John J. Kelly Jr.; a daughter, Ann Kelly Lockwood of Alexandria, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a -great-great-grandchild. A Mass will be said Saturday at noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.
