Fleming & Bailey, Richland and Ouachita
Posted by: Nan Harvey Date: November 03, 2000 at 19:41:11
  of 18908

Searching for descendants of Sweetie Mae Fleming (1904-1974) who married Justin Bailey (1899-1981). They are buried in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in NE Richland Parish, along with her mother and father, Mary and Enoch Monroe Fleming, II, and her brother Wattie Fleming. According to the SSDI, the last residence of the Baileys was Monroe, LA. The words "Mother" and "Father" appear on Sweetie's and Justin's tombstones, leading one to believe there may be some descendants.

Enoch Monroe Fleming, II was the son of James W. Fleming and Ada DeFrance. James' parents were Enoch Monroe Fleming and Wilhelmina Pabst. These families lived near Epps, LA. My ancestor, Christian Pabst (Papps, Papst),was a brother of Wilhelmina.
