My husband has a Sarah Nelson d/o George Nelson and wife Elizabeth Corder. Sarah was born in 1800 in Opelousas, St. Landry, LA. She married John Stanley 10 Aug, 1824 in St. Landry Par. LA. I have George's death date as ca 1837/8 in St. Landry Par. Does this ring any bells?
