I would be interested in getting any additional information available for my great grandfather such as date of enlistment, discharge, etc.
I have the following info at present:

Alphabetical Roll of Such Official Records of the Individual Confederate Soldier,
as are to be found in United States Records, and State Official Rolls., p.45
Allen, C. E.,Asst. Surgeon F. and S. 18th (Cons.) La. Infty. Roll for Jan. and
Feb., 1864 (only roll on file), “Apptd. Asst.Surgeon Dec. 9th, 1862, near Alexandria, La.
” Roll states “Present.”
