A very complete reply. You're right about no Richardsons in Trigg. I didn't refer correctly to my data. Thomas Richerson was in Caldwell in 1830, 1840 and 1850. He moved to Trigg in 1860:

1830 Caldwell Co KY Census: Richerson Thomas 10004 10001
1840 Caldwell Co KY Census:       Richeson, Thomas 010001 201001
                            Warfield Wesly 00001 0001
1850 Caldwell Co KY Census:
603 Richeson, Thomas 48 M W Brick Mason VA
, Elizt 41 F W VA
, Mary S 21 F W KY
, Jas W 19 M W Brick Mason KY
, Ellen 12 F W KY
, Walter W 8 M W KY
, George Ann 6 F W KY

1860 Trigg County KY Census:
138 138 Thos Richardson 58 M Farmer 300 100 VA
, E Richardson 48 F VA
, W. Richardson 16 M Farm Laborer KY
, G.A. Richardson 14 F KY

Eveline/Emelilne Richardson/Richerson married John Wesley Warfield and I can trace them until her death and have traced eached of their children to try and find a more current day relative of the group who is also searching. I noticed from looking again that some of the Thomas Richeson/Richardson clan were also brick masons, which was also the occupation of John Wesley Warfield. Thomas WAS old enough to be a father to Eveline, but the listed wife was NOT old enough to be the mother of Eveline. To be so close geographically, he could be related somehow, but I have no connection. I've traced several of the children of Thomas also. The following is more info I've gleaned on these families which might halp others researching one of these lines and maybe assist in breaking my brick wall. I've been researching my lines since 1977 and the info you sited on what is in the 1850 and other census records should help any new researchers. I thank you for your time.

John Wesley's brother was married in Green County KY before coming to Caldwell County, but I don't find a marriage for John Wesley and Eveline Richardson there.

In the 1810 Green Co KY Census, there are the following Richersons:

In 1830 there is a Thomas Ritcheson in Warren Co KY; MANY Richardsons in MANY counties; 3 Richeson's in two counties; Several Richeron's in 6 counties.

I looked through Louisana too, but didn't know enough to tell if there was anything significant there or not.

There is a James W Ritchardson 1830-1893 and
Ritchardson, Mary J, 1840-1881
both buried in Oakley Cemetery in Trigg County, per the Trigg County Cemetery Book.
