I was doing some family research at http://genforum.genealogy.com/peeler/messages/1041.html and saw a posting you made on Billie R Peeler. It appears to have been made several years ago so you probably don't recall it.
Billie was my uncle and I was named after him. I have a collection of photos, articles, and WWII Navy telegrams regarding him and would be glad to forward the material to anyone who is interested in the Peeler family. Billie's dad, C.B. "Banks" Peeler of Granite Quarry NC, was my maternal grandfather. Billie's brother Wallace is still living and now resides in Louisiana.
He was also featured in the 2009 book entitled "Soul Survivor: The Reincarnation of a World War II Fighter Pilot"
