Forgot to add this: his son, Joseph Calhoun Jr. was also in the Civil War. He was my 2nd great grandfather and married to Mary Jane Perkins. They lived in Louisiana all their lives and they both died in Vernon Parish, LA. Joseph Jr. died 1906 and Mary Jane died 1908. Maybe this added info will help someone find the info I need. Thanks again.
