Ships arriving New Orleans 1848 from Ireland/England
Posted by: Barbara Nelson (ID *****7175) Date: April 18, 2011 at 11:38:41
  of 18908

I am trying to learn which ship and precise dates (dep-entry) etc for the O'Connor family which included
Patrick Doherty dob about 1800, his wife Mary O'Connor Doherty dob about 1812, and their children
Ellen dob about 1831
Philip about 1833
P(male ?) about 1835(what was his given name?
Cacelia about 1839
James about 1841
Mary about 1845
and Bridget 1848(probably early since they immigrated 1848)

I'm not sure of their destination but may have been Missouri for they were on the census in 1850 there in Knox Co

I'd like to learn too, if possible the parents(contact person at least in Ireland) for Patrick and Mary, and if at all possible each of their sibblings. Did anyone else accompany family to US?

And where of the ship left from be it Liverpool, Moville, or somewhere else.
