Wow, A modern miracle of modern high technology genealogy research! My grandfather did assume the name of Arthur Baker, and, yes, he was a cousin of Mr. Williams, and I think Mr. Williams ran a candy store in New Orleans. My grandfather Arthur Baker did live in Mobile on and off for quite a few years and he probably did live there in 1948, because he had a son there, and, in fact, my grandfather died there in the old "Mobile Infirmary" which I think was a charity hospital. I went there to the old hospital to see him on the day he died, and he was already dead when we arrived in his room and they had already taken him out to the morgue. Many Thanks!
