Hope this helps! In the book Shreveport Civil Birth Records 1875 - 1911, on July 13, 1895, a "Georgie Striclind" was born to Geo. Strickland and Annie Roberts. According to "Texas Marriages, 1837 - 1973" at www.familysearch.org , G.W. Strickland and Annie Roberts were married in Lamar County, Texas, on December 15, 1886.
