Thank you very much for this info. I am really looking for a copy of the actual marriage certificate. Because of the many spelling variants everyone has in their family tree, I would like to see it for myself. I am not convinced at all that her name was Elmire. Many years ago, my grandfather told me her name was Edme Diane (spelled phonetically). If you look on the 1930 census, her name is clearly spelled EDME but someone had misinterpreted it as ELMIRE. I am now looking for the marriage certificate for confirmation either way. Do you have it? Do you have any idea where she is laid to rest?
